Organization Stucture

The structure of the KBMP organization is comprised of the KBMP members, Steering Committee, and various subcommittees. The Steering Committee determines the budget, allocation of funds, tracks progress, and provides direction to the organization. The subcommittees include, Communication Subcommittee, Strategic Plan and Funding Subcommittee, Monitoring Plan Subcommittee, Blue-Green Algae Subcommittee, and the Digital Library and Database Subcommittee. The Steering Committee and subcommittee operate through consensus and collaboration, with each member having an equal voice. Subcommittees are comprised of experts in a particular field and advise the Steering Committee.
